From October 24th to 25th, 2024, Mr. Miura, Head of the Support Center at the Timber and Building Materials Division of our parent company, Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd., and Mr. Hasegawa from the IT Solutions Division, paid us a visit and conducted an inspection and operational guidance on the new system.
On the afternoon of the first day, following an introduction of the operations of our various departments, they inspected the actual situation of the sales management document processing operations related to timber and building materials entrusted to us. In addition, we held a Q&A session on the planned updates to the new system. The update to the new system is primarily aimed at improving operational efficiency and strengthening security.
The following morning, to deepen understanding of the new system, we held an operation briefing session in an online meeting format, with the participation of the Japanese operations personnel. They verified the actual operation by our employees on the spot and gave valuable guidance and advice.
Furthermore, through a dialogue with our management, constructive discussions were held regarding future business consignments. Although it was a short two-day period, we were able to have very meaningful communication and mutual understanding deepened.
Based on this visit by our parent company, we will devote our full energy to the smooth introduction and operation of the new system, and will continue to advance the efficiency and quality of our operations. We will continue to strive to be” the most reliable company”.
