Parent Company & SGS Conducts Audit!

From Monday, November 3 to Friday, November 7 (5 days), our company underwent an audit by the Internal Audit Office of our parent company, Sumitomo Forestry. We appreciated Mr. Kakumoto, the auditor, and Mr. Ozaki, the office manager, for visiting us despite their busy schedules to tour our operational areas and attend meetings with Chairman Hashizume and General Manager Song. The audit was primarily conducted by Mr. Shinkawa (SP), who provided a comprehensive assessment and feedback from three perspectives: governance, management, and control.

For information security aspects, Mr. Ishii from the headquarters IT department visited and conducted the audit jointly with Mr. Shinkawa.

Additionally, from Wednesday, November 19 to Friday, November 21, an external audit was conducted by SGS, a third-party certification body, as part of the renewal assessment for the international standard ISO27001 (Information Security Management).

Through these series of audits, we reconfirmed our company's strengths and received valuable guidance and suggestions for continuous business improvement.

As our company marks its 20th anniversary, we will sincerely address the issues identified during these audits and steadily implement improvements to build a stronger management foundation. In particular, we will prioritize the strengthening of our information security and compliance systems as top management priorities.

We take these audits as highly meaningful opportunities and will promptly implement specific improvement measures, using them as nourishment for sustainable growth in the next 20 years.
