Contribute to a decarbonized society by promoting carbon sequestration in wood, increasing the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by forests, and long-term carbon sequestration in wooden buildings. Sumitomo Forestry is also involved in the development of a 15-story wooden office building in Melbourne, Australia, which is scheduled to be completed this year. "Net zero carbon buildings" will become one of the important projects to achieve a decarbonized society.
Since last year, we have been commissioned by our agency to calculate the carbon dioxide emissions of buildings, etc., through the "One Click LCA(LifeCycle Assessment)" software, we can calculate and visualize the carbon dioxide emissions of buildings.
